Aww man... *sniffles* But...I guess as sad as it is, Ironhide’s earned his rest, and lived to see a bit of the peace he fought so long for. Really feel for Optimus, though; it’s harder to be left behind.

Yeah....This fic doesn't really cover it, but, uh, Optimus takes it pretty hard, obviously. On the inside, mostly, though a few weeks later Ratchet gets him drunk enough for him to work through some of it. This is the cannon that I just made up.

Oh my GOD this is awesome. I've been thinking a lot about how the whole "bots = immortal" thing just seems so WEIRD and how EVERYTHING needs to end sooner or later and... this is just AWWW and omgsadbutRIGHT and just... wow.

Nobody lives forever except maybe Starscream. I'm sort of the opinion that, even if their bodies don't degenerate, an accident or fight will get them eventually. Of course, for the purposes of this fic, I decided that their bodies do degenerate (as inspired by Damage Control and other fics I've read, mostly due to a finite Spark lifespan).

And I don't mind the friending at all! I don't always post stuff here, though, so if you want to be sure you're getting everything I would suggest subscribing on FF.net.
