Gimme Gimme Pillow Toast Event Photos!!
Last weekend, the Colorado Gothic Lolitas co-hosted an awesome event with local purveyors of japanese pop culture, Gimme Gimme Pillow Toast. When we first discussed the event, we knew we needed a compelling gimmick! What better than cake! But not just any cake, mini-cakes! Larger than a cupcake but smaller than a birthday cake -- a mini-cake!! So we invited all the local lolitas to come to Wystone Tea House to present their delicious confections for our discerning eyes and stomachs!! Of course, everyone was cute as well! BTW, most of the table decorations were prize giveaways!!
Actually, it started to die on the drive XD I just learned to pipe frosting that morning so I tried to fix it!
Finally, cake contestants started to arrive! We had each person pose with their cake and then took individual cake shots!
Leah was our early bird and helped us finish setting up! She her cake looks quite delicious!

Katie beat me to the tea house! Makes sense since her Tron cake is super fast?

Mandi's cake was non-edible and matched her outfit exactly!!!! I am pretty sure everyone needs cakes that coordinate with their outfits!
Apparently Senda dropped her cake and then remade it into a new and smaller, much denser cake!
Valerie's sheep cake stole my heart!
