Pre-Loliday Colorado Meetup!
Pre-Loliday meetup: Saturday, June 4th!
Because a meetup on Saturday might work better with most people's schedules, mia_cupcakes and I concluded we should have an International Lolita Day meetup a day early. So far, our plan is to have a meetup which starts in the afternoon, and continues into the night, so people have the oppurtunity to come later or earlier according to their schedules. :3
So far, we have decided that we will start off the meetup at 3:30-4:00 at Q-club (www.qclubphoto.com/) for purikura. Estimations for how much this will cost might be around $30 for four rounds of photos but the cost depends on the amount of people (according to mia_cupcakes ).
After doing that and maybe walking around for 2 to 2 and a half hours, it will be time to go to dinner at about 6:00. Really close by to Family Karaoke, our third destination, is a Vietnamese restaurant of the name Golden Saigon. It has gotten very good reviews and is a good place for groups (http://www.yelp.com/biz/golden-saigon-aurora). The prices very but shouldn't be more than $11-$20, so please bring as much money as you think you need to. A good estimate might be around $20.
From there, the plan is to go to Family Karaoke (http://www.yelp.com/biz/family-karaoke-aurora), just 0.3 miles away from Golden Saignon. Two hours in a small room will be, according to mia_cupcakes , about 40 dollars, which will be split between all who are attending.
So depending on how long we spend on dinner (an hour to an hour and a half, maybe?) the meetup will end at about 9:00-9:30. As far as I know, all the places we are visiting are 18 and under friendly, and are located in Denver. There who may not have rides from Q-club to Golden Saigon. Is there any one who would be gracious enough to be able to carpool some lolis from Q-club to the restaurant? If so, please say so so we can set up seating/ride arrangements!
If anyone has any suggestions or accommodations please tell me about them. :3 Also, if you cannot fit any part of this meetup into your schedule or if you don't have the resources to do all three of these things, then it is totally fine to just show up for what you can afford. :3 I'm hoping this will be a fun meetup with as many people as can come!
