I'm sure the recession is a *big* part of it. People can't afford as much, and dealers know they can get away with offering less. I'm hoping for SB's affluence to serve me well, but then the affluent probably aren't interested in a Civic. We shall see!

I've heard uniformly terrible things about their service department, and lots of conflicting info about their sales. But it seems like most of the people who sell TO them find it a good experience. It was easy, but I still feel like they were lowballing me.
Lots of people actually report receiving more than bluebook from 'em. Just not me, boohoo.
