I'm back again! I finally have some free time and I know I owe many, many comment replies, so expect them to be coming in over the next couple of hours.

Have some fic! Vaguely comics-compliant, but not really comic fic at all. Takes place in a future in which Buffy has a baby and a whole lot of frustration with Spike. Oh, and said baby is staking

Awww. Babyfic isn't usually my cup of tea, but this was too adorable to resist! Also, I cheered a bit when they kissed because sometimes they need to get over themselves and just get it together. Dawn was perfect as usual too. Thank you for writing and sharing this! :D

And I loved the plot line of Buffy trying to protect Joy from vamps/monsters at first, and then realizing that it's not necessarily a possible or good goal to have.

Sorry to hear about the bad experiences in fandom. Fandom can be double-edged like that. I'll eagerly be waiting for Bangel fic, but now that you've got me reading your Spuffy fic, I'll be happy to see more of that too.

I'm not up on the comics (except for what I read about on LJ), but thoroughly enjoyed this fic! It was so sweet and adorable, and I'm sure I'd like anything you write better than what's going on in the comics.

I'm glad you didn't find it too schmoopy! I have so many happy Spuffy feels sometimes that they over-bleed into fics.
