It was a great idea to hook Angel with Faith. In Canon, they had awesome chemistry, and you caught their dymanics very convincingly.

Loved how Xander talked about Anya.

Buffy and Willow'c conversation is a gem: the twist about Riley is very clever.

And, of course, your Buffy and Spike are a real treat.

“Wedd-ing!” she shrieked out the last half of the word as Spike found a particularly sensitive point.

“Vampires don’t marry,” he grunted from somewhere under her dress. “That whole claiming thing is just a myth.”

“Oh!” She ground herself against him. “Not…ours…Anya’s!”

Heee! :)

Glad you enjoyed it, and Faith/Angel! (Fangel?) I always thought that it was a shame that Angel and Faith never got together- she really has much more in common with Angel than anyone else...except maybe Spike :D.

I'm happy that you liked the conversation (at last! An explanation for Willow's insanity!) and the Riley stuff- that little part I didn't even have planned until I started writing it...

And my Spuffy can't keep their hands off each other- I read smut, but I don't really want to cross that line in writing, so I like to let the readers use their imaginations... :)

And couldn't resist that dig at claiming. I know I wrote one, and I certainly read claiming fics, but I do think it's a bit silly, unless (and sometimes not then) if it's a plot device. Two of my favorite writers put one at the end of almost every fic, and I just don't get it! :D

I loved your little dig at claiming - i think it's mostly silly (the claiming stuff). Because, at the heart of it, it is a forced "happily ever after" - much like marriage not so long ago in our society (and boy! went that well for women!).

I am awaiting more to read because, you know, just right now it is a little bit too nicy-nice. Everything and everyone is getting along smoothly - surely there is still a dagger left to turn in our stomachs. ;-)

Exactly! My favorite type of claiming fic is one where the claim is broken and they have to figure out if the claim has forced the feelings or that the feelings are real, or if enemies are claimed and they have to cope with it. The rest I'm not thrilled with, even though I cope with it- some of the best FF writers use them, so what can you do? :D

surely there is still a dagger left to turn in our stomachs. ;-)

Ah, yes, and there's still the trio to think about...

Glad you enjoyed- it was about time Willow explained herself. :D
And I'm happy that you like the Faith/Angel! They have such great chemistry on the show- I'm watching the AtS Angelus/Faith episodes right now, and it makes me so sad to know that they never got together in canon, but I guess that's what fanfiction is for. :D

And you read my mind- originally, I was going to have Spike talk Xander out of doing it, then I looked back at the fic and realized that Spike was a little TOO perfect (impossible, I know! But still... :D) and I wanted to let someone else shine for a minute- plus, I've read him doing it in so many fics that it seemed cliche. So yeah, I gave it to Faith because I wanted it to be Spike who socked Xander's dad. :D
