Yay, was nice to come home from work to find another chapter of this. Glad you didn't actually kill Tara. :D I really thought Willow was going to go through with hurting the others. Great chapter, looking forward to the conclusion!

When I get toward the end of a fic, I spend practically all my time writing. :D And Tara's alive! There was so much angst in this fic without the death that I figured I could let Tara live- which was my original plan, too, but I wasn't sure if it would seem out of nowhere, hence the poll. :)

Wow, nice twist.

I'm glad you changed your mind on Xander, he's not bad only driven to much by his heart and sometimes speaks without thinking (it's so very human)

There's nothing like tying to write a character accurately to really get in touch with the best of him- I was blinded by the way he treats Spike, like most anti-Xander people, but then I went all Spander and realized that the hatred is all just nonstop UST. :D

Glad you still liked it, despite Xander not being the hero- but hey, there's always the sequel! (There will not be a sequel. I'm just saying. ;) )

Fantabulous chapter.

The scene of confrontation gave me creeps - in a good way. I cheered when everybody, including Faith stood up for Buffy.

The reintroduction of Tara was amazing. The whole idea of Willow emulating the scene of the shooting is effectively creepy.

This fic has, by the way, completely transformed my view of Xander, as writing the best of him has made me adore him- and I really hated him before now!- and part of the reason why Xander has been depicted so positively was because of people's positive feedback concerning him in early chapters that made me step back and realize that he was the good guy here.

I soo understand you. I always liked Xander but I never loved him untic I wrote a fic from his POV. :)

*off to read the epilogue*

Thanks! I had no idea where I was going with Willow torturing Buffy or whatever when I started the chapter, only that everyone would step forward to defend her. Then I realized that that's really silly here- it made sense in "Family," where the villains were human, but Willow can just teleport. :D

Thank you! I tried to go for the creepiest way that wouldn't leave anyone maimed or dead...except poor Jonathan. I'm sad that Willow killed him. :( But I digress. :D
