pathology report

We have the pathology report back. It says a number of things. Lots of medical latin and greek designed to confuse the uninitiated. However, the bottom line is that there was a rather peculiar thing growing in there. What we had as a teratoma. If I am right teranomas are extremely rare; can "live" in the womb for years and can even be "born" inside a later baby.

Saw a documentary about a boy living with one until he was about 10 years old, before it was diagnosed and removed.

You betya she's better off without it! And without all the other "minor complications"! Συγχαρητήρια!

And Σας ευχαριστώ πολύ to those with staves of Achilius. :-)

I had one of those!! I nicknamed it "Harry" ....

I was informed by my surgeons that Harry was benign and my research has shown that the majority of these are. However, it was the least of my concerns as there were other things going on (large granulosa).

Which brings me to my question. Initially, your blog had mentioned granulosa (which is how I found your site) and I am curious if any evidence of this type of tumour was found as well? I am hoping not .....

All my best to Anne for a speedy recovery. Lots of rest whenever the urge strikes!! I remember having to lie down after a shower to get enough strength to get dressed. But it does improve a little each day!!

It certainly sounds very icky, and she is indeed well shot of it and all it's attendants.

As for your sinister teradactyls... I think we are all used to those by now! ;)

Give Anne our love.
