I usually like Jesse as a good friend, but I love how you portrayed everything. We don't really know anything about Jesse, just that he was tall, dark-haired, and had been Willow's and Xander's friend. I can imagine a desperate Xander looking for any kind of comfort from the constant torture, both physical and emotional, even if it is to fall in the claws of a worse monster.

I also liked how you portrayed Xander's strength. He has been dealing with it for so very long, and still manages to function, which is something that also amazes Spike and one of the things that make him fall in love.

PS: The Mys *really* should write more.

PS 2: The sex scene? Way, waaaaaayyyy hot!!! (if you hadn't realized before, davinci does like her fangy!sex)

Ok, I just reread this and will soon reread the sequals. Can I just say how unbelievable this is? I am trying to type this while I desperately search for a tissue. I usually don't go for evil!Jesse that much, but he is beyond evil in this story. What kills me is the fact that 2 people, Jesse and Tony Harris, that are SUPPOSED to have souls, end up being more monsterous than Spike whom doesn't have a soul!!! Just goes to show how wrong everyone was about Spike. You can't go for 100 plus years loving and taking care of a completely insane vampire (sire or not) and not be able to love
