So, I was watching a little TV today, and I saw this Kohl's ad that made me sad. Basically, these female models danced around a field in dresses while a voice-over said, "Fashion isn't extravagance, it's how you express yourself." That's consumer culture for you, honey. It treats every one like the lowest of low. We're not people to them, just pawns with money to throw around.
