SAD (a disease!)

Hmm... I suspect many transplanted New Orleanians are suffering from SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder). I read an article explaining how many suffered from it but didn't know till they moved from an area like Florida to someplace more seasonal. hmmm... im not sure but i remember it too. ive lost a lot of music id like to find again. I blame itunes. Not having the physical CD makes it easy to forget.

I felt "sad" when I lived in Auburn. It seemed to be cold all winter and I really missed the sun. It was even worse when I did my student teaching and was in a classroom with no windows. I really believe that it helps to see the sun, or even go to a tanning bed. You can debate the skin cancer vs mental health if you want.
