Yes, they are very fortunate.

As for human laziness, I believe that if we could, we'd all live like the Jetsons, without the simple pleasure of even dressing your own body. Ugh.

Only his door was crushed, not the rest of the truck. I heard that he came out with scrapes and scratches, nothing more. There are photos of the aftermath also on YouTube here. Pretty crazy, huh?
