More Monotony

Last time, I logged on to lj to specifically say something and then it was the ONE thing I didn't say.

Many moons ago, I heard tell of a fascinating drink called a 'soy chai latte'. I realize that sounds... Anyway, I figured that someday I'd try one. I've been putting it off for a long time, until finally a few days ago, a couple of friends forced ( Read more... )

Sounds like a great time you had there!

That's so funny that the Soy Latte is the LA drink. Seriously, every actor I know drinks that.

How's the Hitchhiker's Guide? I wanna read it...

I do have to say the the Soy Chai Latte tastes very little like Chai tea, but that's just me talking. And it's still yummy so no complaints here. I actually heard about it from Torri on the SGA 'Sanctuary' commentary. Do you drink them?

Hitchhiker's Guide is insane. All of it is. I had bought a copy of The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide (which includes all five novels and an extra story) which means the monstrosity is over 800 pages long. I'll mail it up there if you'd like to borrow it.

Nah, I don't drink all these weird american ways to make tea and coffee. I stick to home coffee ;p. Yeah I remember that commentary, it really is an actor thing.

Oh yes I'd love to, whenever you finish it. I'm not in a hurry, I just bought a beautiful 1000 pieces puzzle. This one will take me a while.

What do you mean nothing happened?? Le Grande Cirque was nothing?? Barefoot Landing, Broadway at the Beach?? You're fired. :-P Glad you got your soy chai latte.

I was "fired" multiple times this past week. I'm not sure you noticed, but I'd already mentioned Le Grande Cirque in the entry previous AND it was 'something'. Barefoot Landing and Broadway at the Beach was a lot of walking and looking at things I couldn't afford (however neat they may be). I acknowleged them a bit more now. Happy?

Oh, and I will mention an amazingly large/bright shooting star and the morning we saw the dolphin jump.

*gasp!* How can that be so?! Ah well. I grew up in a country where there's a lot of food, but not all of it is that high of quality. (Seriously, what is Valveeta 'cause it's not cheese). I had hoped I was from an area of said country that had a little bit better taste than that.

So what do you drink?
