Soooo McPoop. I didn't get to go to DC or OSU; instead I got to spend a magical night with my rapidly-aging grandparents. However, I did get an antique humidor and ashtray and pipe from the Gramps, which was a little surprising.
I feel like I've spent the whole goddamn week applying for jobs. Ridiculousness. A nice break was Tuesday, though, when I went to Cleveland with a herd of Mac kids to the Natural History Museum, then to Aladdin's. After that we went to Giant Eagle and bought food to make a feast and then we played Capture the Flag and Ultimate, and thence to Jeremy's to cook said feast, which consisted of Veal Parmesan, wheat pasta and a homemade-esque sauce, bread, salad, vinaigrette I made, and some other stuff. 'Twas delicious, and a flexed some nice culinary muscle. Then we went to a William Elliott Whitmore and Red Sparowes show and the Grog, and then back to Kent so Kyle and I could blaze from an apple (being high with Kyle is weird; he was kind of freaking out as it was his first time). So that was fun.
It's weird to be going back to school tomorrow; I feel kind of settled back in to Kent life for some reason (probably owing to the stupid jobs thing). Nobody's really been home, but I did see Sammi, Josh and Lauren last weekend and Simon Thursday night. I might work at Eat 'n Park this summer if nothing else works out, but I still have like 6 apps to turn in, so we'll see. Ugh, jobs.
But on that note, there are some good shows coming up at home and I'm psyched because I think I'm finally over the crap of the beginning of the semester. As long as my conduct hearing for smoking in Tom's goes well, my life will be good, and I plan on being in Minneapolis as much as possible. And shit, I just realized I forgot to e-mail people to take over my volunteer shift at Jack Pine...damn. Whatever. Basically the only thing is that I need money so I can keep up my hedonistic lifestyle and then all will be well.
Also I want to party tonight. I hope Tiffany can arrange that somehow. It is, after all, St. Patty's day. End rambling.
