Crawling back on to the Internets

My ISP decided to change the IP addresses of all their DNS servers without bothering to inform their ADSL customers first. Fine for all those using DHCP, but a bit of a sod for customers like me with static IP set-ups. The service has been pretty appalling for the last few months, random down times, and poor performance. The Phone Coop. They sometimes - not often - have problems but the customer service is good, and you occasionally get a chance to talk to the people really doing the work.

What is is about Tiscali. I have a mate who has left Tiscali twice but they keep taking over his new ISP. He is trying to leave them again and it is a nightmare apparently. As Tiscali seem to be chasing him I will let you know where he goes so you can avoid that one too. :)
