So, I just signed up for Spotify solely to listen to this new Cars album, and I'm glad I did. Thank you for the heads up on this one. I agree with the pure rock sound. That's why I don't buy remasters of most of my favorite albums. They take out things like a finger sliding on a string, the singer obviously popping their lips, and all the other things that make it authentic.

I think I will eventually try "Mad Men," but I haven't been in the mood for it just yet.

Sorry that you're becoming more cynical politically. Sounds like you're finally catching up with me, and it's not a great place to be.

That new-Kyuss show could really go either way. I went to see Hermano back in 2001 or 2002 just because I never got to see Kyuss live, and it was worth it. I was doubtful how Garcia would sound because I watched him get high and drink many beers leading up to their set, but he pulled it off. Ten years later, not sure how it'd go. I agree about Reeder, too. Yet another thing to remind us all that we can't go back in time.
