More travel

The other day, having officially Given Up on the damned thing, I tucked my nonworking T/X away in my carry-on bag, so as not to have it taking up space while it was useless to me.  We've spent the last few days as we usually do:  We take a long hike in the morning, break for lunch, and then go out in the afternoon on a less strenuous excursion.  ( Read more... )

Don't know about New York, but Boston is getting lashed by the edge of the remnants of Noel, and I'd guess NY is too.

We arrived to a bright, crisp November morning. (I think that NYC was pretty well past Noel by the time Boston got hit. We did see some news coverage of high waves in the NY area, though.)

Well, here's the thing: All the data is on my computer. I just move it to the PDA in order to have it accessible when I'm not at home. If it were for more than that, yeah, I'd worry.

Also: I've noticed that the switch is finicky, and it's possible to think I've hit it when I haven't. I do have trouble believing that I was doing it wrong that often, but I'll keep an eye on things and keep using it for now.

For the most part, it's just an address book (and, as I said, the contact information is also stored elsewhere). Oh, yeah: solitaire. It came with solitaire and I haven't put anything else on it. I played solitaire in the airport last night, because I was too sleepy, waiting for the red-eye, to read.
