mplayer is compiled.
You know, I have this strange problem. When I run mplayer with multiple files as input, and I switch to fullscreen mode, then when one file ends and another is to begin, the screen just goes black. the video doesn't come back until I manually exit fullscreen mode (and then I can re-enter if I like). It's annoying for two-disc movies.
