I'm trying to whip up a brief taxonomy of common skin lesions for an assignment. As a consequence, I'm reading all these medical-info pages about such things as warts, moles, polyps, karatoses and carcinomas, and looking at tons of disgusting pictures like these:
And those aren't even the worst ones. it's making me sick. The idea of bodily malfunction, so graphic and unavoidable, makes my skin crawl and my stomach contract. When (not if) I get skin cancer I'm going to completely freak out. This is so fucking disgusting...
