The five dollars is a figurative five dollars, and is actually quite a bit more money.

No, it was five dollars. For a brake lever that matched the one he broke on some old 10-speed. First I go find the damn thing for him. Then that. He managed to haggle Jay down to $3. Later I saw him on Princess talking to some girl of perhaps 17. His awful hair was white, if that's any indication of his age.

You're going to have to work on that customer service attitude! No, not really. :) I don't think I'd last long in my job if I interfaced with the general public. ;)

I spent about $269 on my bike, if that, and it's a nice little bike. =)

I saw some guys stealing bikes the other day. I have a police report in. Hopefully they catch them. I sure am glad I have relatively secure bike parking now...
