I fell off. Riding fixed is hard. Begin with no hands, hit a pothole and lose your footing, and you are likely to find yourself on the ground sooner than you are prepared for. Bicycle helmets are useful, at least for invalids like myself.

Ouch.

Some. But none on the road. I'm pretty good now. I shant fall off again.

I rode up the mountain today, and it was goddamn amazing. My one gear is not a terribly low ratio, but having less weight and less drivechain resistance and a straight chainline makes such a difference. I was blowing by everyone else on the road. This bike is sweet.
