I'm sorry, I'm still totally gobsmacked by that.

I hate when my plots are foiled!  See, tomorrow is my day to go in late for work, so I was planning to sleep in.  (Precious, precious sleep!)  But then I get home tonight and my mum gives me the puppyface and says, "I need a big favour honey..."   The menagerie needs to go to the vet tomorrow at 7:30am.  So much for sleeping in!

Sleepy beyond all reckoning. Could be the headache. Time for bed.

Today has been the strangest day.

There is an employee (now a former employee) whom I befriended on his first day here, the day he came for his interview.  He sat in the lobby making his phone calls because there was a horrible snowstorm outside, and we chatted in between, just casual stuff really.  Since then he'd stop by my desk every so often ( Read more... )

We had to take the menagerie to the vet's this morning, and as my father is still sick and consequently moping (he is the worst sook when he's sick!) my mother asked me to accompany her.  This meant getting up at 7:30, but i wasn't complaining because that's a good two hours ( Read more... )
