velocity structure of DR21

A library staff member reported that subscript 3's were appearing as subscript 2's in our online catalog. Check out the middle of the title for Velocity structure of DR21.The subscript has the correct Unicode value of 2083. What's weird is that if I view it in a larger font, it's clearly a 3, and even in a smaller font, it looks like a 3, but in

If you leave the font size the same size, but use the Magnifier tool to zoom in on the characters, it looks like it's just some font funkyness. It might just be Windows' "ClearType " font smoothing causing problems.. You can play with the afore-linked tuner or try turning it off altogether

It looks fine in Safari on Windows, which uses a different font smoothing tech..

thanks hon. i didn't have the tuner on at all, but it's good to know it works in Safari at least.

i tried turning ON cleartype with different options, and it looks like a 2 either way. oh well.
