I NEED to learn how to make HDR images. This is a requirement imposed upon myself. It has been added to the List of Things to Do Before I Die, under the section Do Immediately.
did you look up HDR images online? they are f-ing awesome. It has to do with taking the same exact picture with different exposures and then meddling them together, which would have to be done with photoshop at this point, as there really isn't software to do it for me (as far as I've found) It's perfect for night images, where you have bright lights and dark spots with detail.
But, yeah, I also need (not for the HDR, but for good images in general) a polarized lens, a warm lens, wide angle lens, telephoto lens. and waterproof housing perhaps. and then I want to make my own external light source. that, I should do now. I don't know why I've been waiting to make one. Winter is perfect time to do it because I'll have a lot of time to experiment with it indoors.
I didn't think the lens mattered any MORE for the HDR pics than any nice pic. It's just to balance out the light in the picture.
