Gears 2 is sweeeet *said like Marcus*

Also I got Dead Space a few day ago, I'll start it soon, though I hear it isn't as scary as other games :(

Yeah, as far as I know it has pretty generic scares: monsters bursting through air vents (almost all the time) and the Gears 1 approach of bosses (they charge you, you side-step and shoot them in the back etc)
Also the "dismembering them to kill them quicker" makes no sense to me... pretty sure a shot to the head would kill anything quicker *shrug*
Still, it has some cool graphics and nice atmosphere.

Yeah I saw it, a friend works at EA and he got a copy last year at Expo. It's very immersion because of the self-contained UI too haha.

But scares, maybe it's just us, getting older, but they're not scary any more! Homecoming didn't phase me, Dead Space when I watched it was meh...I dunno. Nothing beats Project Zero

Scariest games? Hmm.. that's a tough one.. The *first* game I found genuinely terrifying (till this day) was an ancient polygon game on the Amiga called "Archipelagos" - its on my Amiga site. My sister played it and I watched, the music still terrifies me!

Project Zero was intensely creepy for the first 5 minutes... but I kinda lost enthusiasm for it the moment you were taking pictures of ghosts *shrug*

Aye, it wasn't exactly the right review... but when I watched it something didn't sit right with me about it... but couldn't figure what. Naturally over a month later I have even less clue :S
One of those instances were I need to review it immediately...
