a coworker recently asked me if i saw myself one day being 'covered in tattoos'. i didn't immediately answer, but instead imagined myself taking my kids by the hand and dropping them off at school, or going to open house nights to meet their teachers, or going to pta meetings, with sleeve tattoos, looking like my regular rocknroll self. i know when ( Read more... )

I have had the same discussions with my co-workers; "are you just going to continue and like..get covered?", "doesn't it hurt and couldn't you use the money on other stuff?", "what does your guy think now that you have more than him?".
I usually just say my old repeated lines and they stare at me, shake their heads and then ask what my kids will think...

i went on buying trips with Rebecca to LA.......i can't tell you how glad I was to NOT work there anymore.....I was SO poor when I worked there!

ooh ooh i went on a trip w/ rebecca to LA once, too.. i was super poor as well.. it fed the clothing addiction quite nicely, though. here in williamsburg we have a store called beacon's closet, opened by a girl i used to work with in tucson. same concept, but they also have a small music room as well. nice to have around, but it's just not the same when you don't work there...i miss first dibs on all the hot stuff!
