 I guess it's a good thing I had TaiKwonDoe today. Otherwise I might have been cooped up inside watching German Soap Opera's all day. And I think that might have been a little pathetic. Really, I never knew my boredom would escalate to the point of watching foreign soap's.

Do you speak German? How do German soaps compare to ours? Haha. I haven't seen many soaps but I did watch Passions a few years ago for about two months..

I burn really badly. Probably because I have the whitest heritage possible outside of Eastern Europe.

Dude it's so fuckin' hot up here in Chicago, too. It's ridiculous. The weather is switching madly between typically gross and rainy March weather and typically hideous August heat. No in betweens! I know Chicago has notoriously stupid weather, I've lived here my whole life, but this has to be some kind of... record phenomena.

Nope, can't speak a work of it, except Nien. I just watch whatever subbed episodes I can find. And I think it might be that acting, or the fact that you can't understand what they're saying, but the German one's are so much better!

Haha I never would have thought of that-- like, watching foreign soaps. I'm assuming they follow the same "YOU SLEPT WITH HER" "WHO KILLED JOEYS COUSINS FATHERS DOG" bullshit but so so so addicting storylines?

Yea, at points it's pretty much the same cheesy stuff they put on American TV. But they also have some really good plots and the actors and actresses are amazing! So much better then any American soaps I've seen. =D

I don't think watching foreign soap operas is pathetic. If you were watching something like Jerseylicious, then that would be pathetic. And I tend to do that when I see a marathon on XD

I totally feel you on the sunburn thing. I burn like nobody's business, but I'm Irish, so that's really not surprising.

It's getting hot in New Jersey, too! Jeez, by the end of this week, it's supposed to be like 100 degrees, and that's cool, I guess. I like sweating my butt off just sitting around.

The thing about being sunburned is you want to hate the sun for causing pain, but you can't because it gives us life. :(

It seems like everywhere is hotter than normal these days. *sigh* The only place it seems you can go to escape the heat is Alaska. (being a little dramatic)
