Mother Troubles
I think I might have a slight problem. See I've got this friend who's Bisexual. Two friends actually, and they're kind of together. My mom seems fine with one of them, let's call her Spider. I'm guessing this is because Spider's mom is an old friend of my uncle, and she's not quite as obvious as my other friend.
But the thing is, my mom is very uncomfortable with letting A, the other friend, stay over. In fact she's always come's up with some excuse as to why A can't spend the night, or why I can't spend the night at A's.
I've only recently noticed this last night when my mom came up with a stupid excuse, that I knew was a lie, and kept ignoring my solution to the problem she introduced. I can understand her being a little uncomfortable at first, but it's been like a year since she found out A was Bi, and a lot longer of suspecting. =/
On a brighter note, me, A, and Kelso spent the day yesterday at the mall. I got my Ipod, which has been glitching like crazy, replaced free of charge. We also found the easiest movie theater ever to sneak into. Srsly, they had two people working, one at the ticket booth and one at the concession stand. You just had to walk in and they never even stopped or checked you. I think they just don't care.
After the mall we finally went to the comic book store! I was starting to have withdrawal, I haven't been in so long!
We went to a second hand book store/comic store, and let me tell you, those stores have some raunchy books.
Then we went home to eat pizza and watch Inception, which Kelso had never seen. I believed this to be a horrible offense that I couldn't just allow to slide.
Tuesday I went to the amusement park with another friend of mine, Peaches. It was fun,there were a lot of cute guys working there, and no lines whatsoever. It was amazing! But afterwords we were going to spend the night at her house, and she invited A. Well, I was going to pick A up because her parent's were asleep and needed the cars in the morning for work.
My mom came up with an excuse that the roads were too curvy at night were A lived and I couldn't go. I drove there the two days later. They are not that bad.
I guess she'll have to get over it eventually, but until then, my mom's avoidance of the subject of my friends sexuality is starting to annoy me.
And sorry for the rather longish post....
