Point blank...research shows it is WITHCRAFT repackaged to seem "glamorous." It doesnt interest me. Even if I never learned it was witchcraft....I wouldn't read the crummy book. I did read one little excerpt my friend was laughing at....it didn't seem funny to me at all. I know you're not "religious" but due to my experiences I am. It's not like christians picked a random book to flame...Whether you want to face it or not witchcraft is real....you can't rely on what you see....pfft....how does the wind work huh? You can feel the wind; you see the EFFECTS of the wind but it has no shape or form yet people know it exits...In my view...it's the same as God, his power, and the spiritual world. I'll just leave it at that....gotta go now X.x
I'd guess Crono Crusade has nothing to do with witchcraft/demonism then. Nor does Full Metal Alchemist.
Yes witchcraft is real, and yes there are many supernatural things we simply do not understand. Fearing them, however, would be like fearing your own shadow. Ignoring it will never make it go away.
Regardless of how good or evil one wishes to be, we must all achieve an inner balance in order to experience life objectively. If we refuse to do so, we create unhealthy, uneducated, slanted opinions on many things that would otherwise build strong character.
This is why, having tried it on, I realized "religion" did not fit me. I am however, extremely spiritual, choosing only to avoid structured "religion" to insure the integrity of my objectivity. I do not wish to be brainwashed into calling art "crummy" when I never had even bothered to look.
You are completely missing the point. You're taking the complete middle road. The whole "how can one know something if they don't see both sides blah blah." In certain situations it's either best not to mess with the "other side" or one side has to be taken. It's almost as if you're saying that if the blood from a murdered body made a masterpiece on a floor and the murderer called it some kind of art and it was beautiful, you'd accept the murder as being right just because it was such a "great work of art"? I know that is completely random and totally out there, but in the position you're taking, you're saying "Oh it's right to do a little of this and do a little of that since you're broadening your mind etc." Oh so if we refuse to do something we know is wrong, but everyone seems like it we're becoming uneducated? Yeah sure buddy you're defending your little book with what you said. Though, in the big picture, when you think of all the situations, you can't always take the "middle road" and be "balanced." Of course you can try and
