Rambling updates
I haven't updated this since last year and it's been very sporadic. Not too many updates but I will get to what is going on with my life. I tried to sign up for a different blog but I'm just too comfortable with LJ.
So I have not been feeling well this year. It seems like I'm feeling sick more often than I'm feeling well and I'm concerned about it. In fact, my doctor's office did call me up to say that they wanted me to repeat a urine test because it didn't seem normal or whatever. I was supposed to repeat it today but never got around to it.
Despite feeling like crap, I did go to Oahu to meet up with friends in mid May. I was still not feeling well a lot of the time (had to eat some meals in the hotel room bc of this) but I did have fun and got to do some karaoke and shopping. Including buying many Japanese bowls to eat out of (yay for Marukai!)
I have cats at my SO's workplace. Ai, Shu, and Shu's baby kitten Rufio (I did not choose that name!). Unfortunately a week ago, little Rufio disappeared and it's heartbreaking. Hopefully we'll find him but we doubt it. :(
Have been watching Switched At Birth on Netflix and love it. I'm on the 3rd season now and it looks like it has a break until who knows when.
Also have been getting into mystery radio shows like CBS Mystery Radio Theater, The Whistler, Mysterious Traveler, and will download The Shadow next. I joined the Old Time Radio Theater club and am downloading a ton of shows from there. How did I get into these radio shows? From watching the 3rd episode of Ruby Gloom. She was listening to a mystery radio program and I've always had an interest in Twilight Zone and Alfred Hitchcock tv shows and this reminds me of it.
