So today the doctor finally called me back (about 2.5 weeks later) about my blood test results. I actually got an adrenaline rush of sorts due to the whole "I'll tell you if you have HIV and are going to DIE" situation. so many people have vitamin D deficiency

watch out though, cause it's really easy to overdose on Vitamin D. it has a half like of almost a month so be careful taking the supplements if you're eating a lot of food that has Vitamin D in it; vitamin D toxicity can cause irreversible kidney damage.

YAY! I love having a nurse as a friend. I knew of the long half life, but I actually never took that into consideration. They have me on 800 to 1000 units per day. The only thing is taking 800 units makes me really really sleepy. 1000 seems too high.

Well, if its only a wee problem LOL. And I've been trying to see the sun... its just seen through the lab windows as it slowly descends below the skyline. Or it can be like last night when I saw the sun slowly come up over Emmanuel. lol

Maybe install a sun lamp at your lab station? A little tlc, greenhouse style.
