Old School Star Trek is good medicine. So is bondage.

I have been fighting anxiety attacks all night long, I am horribly sick for the second time in a month, and I had to cancel tomorrow's hot date.

On the upside, squeemu made me a tribble icon.

Which brings me to: due to a recent meme posted by thebaconfat, I have realized there are on my paid account a full twenty (well, ninteen now) icon slots empty ( Read more... )

Well, if it'll help cheer you up....

It's a good thing I'm doing this so late at night, or I might have people wondering why I'm looking at so many pictures of cartoon bondage. I have to admit, I had absolutely no idea about Wonder Woman's creator. That really... that really explains a few things. And who says comic books are for kids? (Did he enjoy being bound, or doing the binding, I wonder?)

Which comic is Batman's diatribe from? I desperately want to read it.

Wonder Woman, or If you look too closely at the file names, you will wonder why we've had so many world wars.

Hey now, there was totally a second Batman icon there, in case it was more readable. Sigh. Do I have to everything myself around here?

Happiness!

And who says comic books are for kids?

Actually.

I think it was a few months ago when I was leading Russell and another friend around Dupont Circle, and we stepped into Lambda Rising. I went over to the magazine rack, picked out one of their alternative-friendly titles, and flipped it open to an article on Wonder Woman's creator. I think my jaw visibly dropped.

And this is just absolutely wrong.

As for Batman's diatribe, it's from issue two of All Star Batman and Robin. I have unfortunately not had a chance to pick the title up yet, but I hear good things.

...oh man, do not pick it up. Seriously. It's a cavalcade of every single one of Frank Miller's fetishes, hang-ups, and outraged screeds against feminism/liberalism/diversity/queer theory/life not boiling down to Big, Manly Men Hitting Things And Being Manly And Not Having Homoerotic Subtext.

I would help you with the icons, but I pretty much bumbled through the creation of my sole animated icon. In lieu of actual graphic skills on my part, here, have an awesome web-comic?

My experience sadly teaches me that there is nothing as lazy as a friends list asked to make icons. I admit that I do not know how to make icons! However, when google image searching the key phrase 'steampunk zombie sea turtles', an image on the first page is this.

It is labeled She woke up in a sea of penises.

Welcome to the internet!

(also I hope you feel better)

(P.S. I hate internet codes)
