Yahoo!'s fortunes took a major beating over the last three years but it still is a big league player for sure. They're not gonna be creating ontologies now but data processing and analysis remains a major effort. Sunnyvale and neighbourhood is a nice place to live. Do give 'em a try. Good luck!
People who work at Yahoo! are known as Yahoos. Yahoo is a person. Yahoo! is a company. At least that's how it was according to the brand guidelines and that's what makes sense as well (yahoo is a real word, ya know).
It pisses me off no end to see the distinction not being honoured even in official communication coming out of the company. This is the lack of attention to detail that seems to have permeated throughout the company's products. Anyhow, not my problem anymore.
