For Draco

[ For slytherinsilver ]

Smith's workspace was still as sparsely decorated as ever. Simple white walls surrounded a small room, and in the middle of it was a table with two chairs. A drink sat on top of the table, untouched. Smith sat at the table, waiting for the arrival of a guest.

Draco arrives at the location provided him by Agent Smith and is immediately intrigued. Though the room appears stable enough, strings of code are interwoven with the seeming solidity of the walls. If Draco squints, the code becomes clearer, more real than the walls themselves. He gazes with interest at the impecably dressed gentleman seated not far away and raises an eyebrow curiously. The strings of code are present here too, but are different, swirling, changing, inconstant. Fascinated, Draco moves closer to the man and sits down, smiling politely.

Agent Smith. It's a pleasure to make your aquaintence. I've heard much of you. It's good to finally put the face to the name.

Smith nods at the young man, taking that moment to file away visual and audio cues of his new guest.

Mr. Malfoy, it is good to finally meet you in person, too. There have been many interesting things said of you as well.

Draco smiles slightly, the corners of his mouth twitching.

This, I have to say, is absolutely fascinating. This chair looks and feels solid, my brain is telling me that it *is* solid, but I know that it isn't actually solid at all. How do you do it?

That depends on how you define reality, doesn't it? If all your senses tell you that one thing is true, is that enough for your mind to accept it? In fact, what evidence would you have to the contrary aside from preconceived notions?
