Dislikes: insects, insomnia, periods, my looks, two-faced people, stupidity (I understand that I'm not the brightest person in the world but I dislike those who do not bother to invest in brain matter), celebrities (not all of them), rap music, mathematics, accounting, inconsiderate people, hypocrites, judgmental people, sexists, homophobes (I'm straight but I can't stand homosexual-bashing), people who try to impose their beliefs on others, writer's block, politics, peer pressure, labels and stereotypes, intrusion of my privacy, injustice, unsolicited advice, having to get up early, embarrassment, people who never help out on group projects, people who make hurtful comments about my weight, excessive partying (especially those in which people do nothing but drink and dance wildly)
Strong points: (Said to be) intelligent. Studious and generally responsible. Reserved. Creative. A bit philosophical. A dreamer. Ambitious. I am persevering and determined when I do something that I like, or when I see that my labor has not been - and will not be - in vain. Appreciative of my friends, although they may not always be aware of it. Thoughtful. A thinker. Adaptable. Generally a fast learner, when it comes to academic matters. Imaginative. In school, I do well in English (literature, grammar, etc.), history, chemistry and foreign languages.
Weak points: Highly indecisive. A bit lazy sometimes. Cynical and pessimistic. Clumsy and unrefined. Easily frustrated, nervous and panicky. Idealistic. Critical of others. Mostly introverted and distant, tends to keep emotions bottled up inside, often brooding and depressed. Tends to angst about being misunderstood and not being appreciated by friends. Moody. Can hold grudges Easily gets jealous, even over little things. Insecure. Self-conscious. Timid and passive. Paranoid. Shy and socially awkward. A perfectionist at times. I also fare very badly at sports and physical activities in general. Grade-conscious to a fault. Naive and somewhat lacking in street smarts. Poor at remembering faces - I've had lots of embarrassing moments, no thanks to my inability at easily remembering faces! Also, it's contradictory how I easily feel sorry for people, but I hardly do anything to help them because I feel that I can't do anything, or that I'm not exactly sure what to do.

~Questions~
1) What are three things you look for in a great friend?
For me, a great friend is one who is...
Understanding/Accepting - Someone who can accept and tolerate me for who I am, with all my quirks and differences.
Loyal - Someone who'll be kind and true to me.
Thoughtful - Someone who will care for me and remember me every so often, in spite of the fact that I'm rather ordinary and that there isn't much to remember about me.
2) What do your current friends mean to you?
I don't think I have many friends, but the few close friends I have mean a lot to me because we see each other a lot and are united by common interests. I don't have many friends in class so I feel really happy that they are there to support me and to keep me company. Likewise, I try to do the same for them.
3) If a friend asked you a favor would you say yes to them before knowing what it is?
No; I'd first want to know what the favor is, because it makes me guilty when I can't keep promises or when I turn out to be unable to do the favor. After asking and then finding out what the favor is, I usually can't say "no" directly, so even if I can't carry out the favor entirely, I still try to help in what little ways I can.
4) Most of the time do you prefer your friends to think and act like you? or think and act differently from you?
Having things in common (thought patterns, actions, hobbies, etc.) helps, and it makes me get along better with my friends, so for the most part, yes. But I don't want all of my friends to be like me, because then we wouldn't achieve diversity or growth. I also need friends who can balance out my introversion; for instance, one of my best friends is my polar opposite. He's an extrovert, and he isn't into anime or cosplay (he doesn't even like those!). However, we're good friends, and I guess what brought us together was our common dislikes (certain celebrities, for instance).
5) What is one thing that annoys you so much about people?
Oh my. There are so many things I dislike about people, haha. If I could pick one thing... well, I hate users, i.e. people who suddenly approach you when they need something from you and then hardly even speak to you or care about you when you aren't beneficial to them. I've had experiences with lots of people like that, so I'm rather wary of people who approach me for favors (except when they're my friends). Hmm... can I mention another thing? I also don't like it when cliques of "popular people" think that they have the absolute say on anything. I knew a "popular person" who was a real hypocrite; she claimed to love the class so much ("I love you guys; you're the best classmates I ever had!"), but in reality, she only loved her clique of popular people. She'd throw parties for the entire class, but (whether intentionally or unintentionally) made the less popular feel alienated. It felt like she invited everyone just for show. I hate people like those.
6) What would you do if close friend betrayed you?
Depends on the magnitude of the betrayal. Generally, however, I'd take it badly and feel hurt. I'd probably let out my feelings on my blog and, because I can hold grudges, I might start thinking negative thoughts (wishing the person ill, etc) - but I probably wouldn't act on those thoughts or resort to backstabbing. However, I would ignore the person for a while (or for an indefinitely long time, if the betrayal is that severe). Assuming that I do want to make up with that friend again, I'd talk to him/her when I'm ready to do so, and demand to know why he/she betrayed me. And then if I find out that my actions might have spurred him/her to betray me, and if the betrayal wasn't that severe, I might forgive the person, but not exactly forget what he/she did. Even if we do make up, it might take a long time for us to regain our former closeness - or we might not regain that closeness at all.
7) Are you able to keep secrets?
Admittedly, not quite, when it comes to little secrets. I've accidentally spilled some things a few times, but thankfully, they weren't big secrets. I can keep big secrets, though.
8) What are some of the places you like to go to the most? Bookstores, cosplay conventions, nice restaurants (though I don't go out often), my school's computer room, home (whether it's my home or a friend's)
9) What are some of the things you do with friends? Most of my friends are introverted like me, so we usually study/do projects together. Or we help out with club activities. Sometimes, we go to each other's houses and just hang out there (surfing the Net and watching anime). Usually, when we go out, we go to malls just to walk around or have a meal together, or to cosplay conventions, because we are impressed by cosplayers.
10) If you could choose, would you want your friend(s) to be more:
A. Patient or Impatient? Patient. Though I don't show it all the time (because I'm reserved), I can be rather impatient, so I need someone to balance me out.
B. The Outdoors or Indoors Type? Indoors; I don't like going out very often.
C. a Leader or Follower? More of a follower, but I don't want my friends to be complete followers. Because I'm indecisive at times, having followers for friends would get things nowhere.
D. Confident or Modest? A bit of both.
E. Brains or Brawn? Definitely brains; I like smart people because I enjoy intellectual conversations every now and then.
F. a Listener or Speaker? In between. I want someone to hear my thoughts out, but one-way conversations are awkward, and besides, I run out of topics easily, so I need someone who can both listen and speak.
G. Calm or Energetic? Someone who's in between. Because I'm introverted, I prefer calmness, but I also have an inner dorky/wacky side, so at times, I need an energetic person to bring out that side of me.
H. Mature or Immature? Mature, perhaps. But I wouldn't want my friend/s to be too mature, because then things would be dull. I like people who are mature but know how to unleash their inner child, because I like things that some people may consider to be "geeky" or "childish."
I. Controlled or Impulsive? Controlled, because sometimes I have a hard time dealing with things planned out at the last minute. A little spontaneity wouldn't hurt, though. :)
