¿Thoughts & Etiquette?

So my sister got back from her trip to NY, and while I was eating Hershey's and remembering just how bad American chocolate is to Australia's, I came across two pictures from her trip that just had me laughing.

Picture #1:

Yeah, that's how I feel as well. Cadbury chocolate is really nice which I noticed is light years ahead of Hershey chocolate. The only other chocolates that I like are the Belgium and Swiss chocolates, they know how to do it up right. XD

Haha, IKR?

Heh, but that just makes it seem all the more like something you'll see at King's Cross or something, LMAO. I guess, though my sister was telling me its really really bad in NY. I went to Chicago and from what I remember, it was not as bad as how she described NY.

Thank you! I just thought it was common courtesy as well as a no-brainer, but apparently, it seems to be a bit beyond some people.

Apparently random links on someone's profile = crediting. I may be younger than this person but even I know how crediting works.

Personally, I think said person is butthurt that people aren't paying them more attention. And there I was, trying to be nice. :|

The sentiment that I get when I read comments from this particular individual is I just spent how many months of my life genuinely caring for you, hoping the best for you and now this is what I get? Is there anyway that I can construct some kinda time travel machine and get the time back that I lost? And honestly, every time I sit and try to understand, try to give a second chance, I find something else that just reminds me why I need to be careful about who it is I befriend on the interwebs.

You forget, it's difficult to avoid individuals like that on the interwebs. In every fandom, there are noobs and crazies. It's just our misfortune that we ran into some like that without even realising. The funniest thing is that said person posed as a multishipper. T__T Heck, as a quiet multishipper, I personally want to say: GTFO.

Also, HECK YES TO AUSTRALIANS HAVING BETTER CHOCOLATE. I mean, I don't even know how Americans can stomach the chocolate they eat. :| But then again, most of them wouldn't have tasted any better.

And yes, we definitely must save up enough for Japan. KUFUFUFU. I already have the coins Ata had. Though I can't see us getting anywhere with 1 yen coins. ROFLMFAO. We gotta start practising our Japanese. XD

I think you're definitely a bigger multi-shipper than she is. Its like the multi-shipper badge that she parades around has less flare than yours, that's for sure. XD

I just think they don't know any better. We should totally start a business in America, selling Australian chocolate. We would be freakin' billionaires. XDDD

Well, I'm signing up for Japanese next year, so I'll be able to at least have a three second convo with someone exchanging pleasantries. XD

Heehee Aussie chocolate >>> all things ;)

Yeah I've seen a lot of people give credit in that way. I think it is so the profile looks less cluttered or prettier or whatever. But I agree with you, it's best to actually state who made the graphic is a proper way!

Heheh, well look who's here! I haven't heard from you in ages! Been busy lately?

And LOL, yeah, Aussie chocolate brings joy and hope to the world. XDDD

I know some people have links that say "FO Banner" or something along that lines in their profile page, I know I have that on mine, a link saying "mood theme", "profile layout", "journal layout", so those titles for those links are perfectly fine. However, its when you bypass those titles in favour of symbols such as hearts, crowns and other shizz that it becomes unacceptable. You should give credit where credit is due, people work hard on that stuff. XD

first off, first picture = WIN. lmao!

second, about crediting: maybe because the graphic maker/comm owner is an IH fan and this person does not want to be seen using a banner made by a fruitcake? heh. just a hunch, though! the deletion of the said banner = wow, how mature. lol.

Hahah, I'm so tempted on on taking a picture under the sign with a samurai sword now. XDDD (Cause that would go down well with the authorities >.>)

LOL, yeah, the whole "please don't lump me with them you gaizzzzz!!!!" It makes me feel soooooo much better about myself when not only crazy shippers call me names, but also, people who apparently ship the same thing also beg not to be known in association with the other fans of said ship. And ugh, the deletion of the banner is what got me the most I think. I mean, it seems that as soon as something comes up that's telling you to change the way you do something, not necessarily a diss but something that makes you think, the automatic reaction is to delete and hide. What's so hard about adding a few words? Is it physically impossible to do that after someone points something out to you that needs to be done?

what's so hard about adding a few words?

IT IS DIFFICULT CODIE IT IS! IT REQUIRES A LOT OF NEURONS TO FORM LETTERS AND WORDS. *ehem* see? that's why this person used a symbol instead of letters... like those Neanderthals... the writings on the wall.... XD

the deletion of banner is EPIC WIN. it's like: "ops! i got caught! quick! hide the evidence!" *deletes banner and journal entries* followed by, "i'm a victim! pity me, pretty please pity me!" entry. -_-"

man. this person needs a brain transplant. lolz!

Haha, I didn't think it was that hard, but once again, I get proven wrong time and time again. What's wrong with people these days, Alice? Like, seriously? XD

Hahah, I dunno if you know this but, the reason why they're called ugg boots is because they're ugly? XDDD And LOL, is that the best comeback you can come up with? XD You're talking to Aussies, mate. We freakin' love going out in the outbush and killing our supper. There's plenty of steak to be had. |D ( ... )

Haha, I figured XD I remember I refused to succumb to the craze for maybe two years until I was bored in a shoe shop and decided to just slip some on to see what the fuss was about. I nearly came. And then bought them. It should be illegal for a shoe to be that comfortable. And tch. You may be able to kill 'em properly, but can you grill 'em properly is what I'd like to know >:| But actually, I do agree. Most of Hershey's stuff is pretty blech. Nestle is worse. But you didn't like Ghirardelli? Or Godiva? D: They're like little pieces of heaven to me. I need to go to Australia just to try this stuff O.O ( ... )

Hahah, you're so bloody easy. Does that mean all I have to do is buy you some ugg boots when I come over and you'll be putty in my hands? Kufufuu... Hmm, I tried Godiva, wasn't bad, if I remember correctly, it was suppose to imitate Guylian chocolates? Now that's some really awesome chocolate. I have to send you some chocolate later, let you have a taste. XDDD

Mmmmm, police men doing a strip down can-can. /salivates Yes sir, lock me up, do a strip down search, I already know all my miranda rights. *Q* S-south carolina? Land of the Tar Heels? Dude, I would love to visit that place! I brought a USC cap before I left the states and I'm completely bonkers over it. XD Maaaaan, we totally should take that trip together! That would be soooo much fun!

IKR? How boring would internet life be without the likes of Copper? : D
