October 2nd and 3rd are a prequel called XANA Awakens. Technically episodes 14 and 15 of the new season, but being shown first by the US.

So the new Season DOES start on the 2nd!

Actually, technically, it is the third season. These two episodes are indeed the two-episode prequel special, about how the gang met and how they met Aelita and XANA, entitled "XANA Awakens." These two episodes were supposed to be a flashback at the very end of the third season, as the 14th and 15th episodes.

I will really love them for life if they record every new episode from the 2nd to the 24th.
