I wanted to join in the blogging, but apparently you have to subscribe to something in order to leave a comment. I don't have any RSS or atom or GMail or AOL or anything else that allows you to subscribe, and I don't particularly want to add any of them. I put the button on my userinfo, but I guess I should take it out.

Hm. To comment on the post, your LiveJournal account should work as "OpenID". And any LiveJournal has an RSS feed by just adding "/data/rss" to the URL.

There is no open ID. It says, "Subscribe to leave a comment," and then gives you a choice of Live Bookmarks, My AOL, Bloglines or Google Reader. I have none of those things, nor do I have any desire for an RSS feed, as I have no idea what they even are, except that I've read they are not good for computer security.

Ohhh... are you clicking on the "Post Comments (Atom)" link? You should be clicking on "Post a Comment" slightly above that. (To be fair, Blogger did choose awfully ambiguous wording for that!)
