Dad is home. But it's really not good news. They found out his arteries are almost entirely blocked, so they can't do a angioplasty balloon/splint. The reason he's still alive is that his arteries have grown their own new branches to get around the blockage. A natural "bypass". Because of this, they can't do a surgical bypass or anything. So

Yeah, can't post at work anymore. They're going to take away our internet access entirely.

It's good to hear you're doing well! I'm at that end-of-summer point where I just wish I had a full time job that keeps me busy so I didn't bum around so damn much. It doesn't help my psyche any.

I've been out of the loop too. I hope your dad sticks to his plan and lives a very long life. Is the boards stuff something I can read about or is it offline stuff? I'm pretty out of every loop there is to be out of.

Nope, this is mostly offline stuff, and like I said, I was unaware of the iceberg I'd created.

It's funny, I was talking to Chernabog and he brought up that there are plenty of people that are lurkers that just show up to meets. It made me remember just how many non-posters became a large part of the original group from MP, because they came to meets, not because they posted or even read the board at all. I think I could do that. At least my husband reads/posts a bit there so I wouldn't be entirely out of the loop, I guess...
