There's been a lot of talk here about studies showing that drinking skim milk is actually very good for weight loss. The calcium somehow helps the intestines absorb less of the fat from foods. Me, I drink loads and loads of milk. I'm also a little upset that I stopped drinking milk when I was nine years old because I thought that it was going to make me gain weight.
Hmmm I don't know if they sell skim milk here. It all looks the same. There are no percentage points on the boxes. *goes off to google it* :( I stopped drinking milk because it was icky, but now I drink a bit more now.
I understand what your going Through v. I know I have to get healthier myself, and all this soda I'e been drinking isn't helping Either. I went without drinking it for a very long time and I know it's possible for me to do, but then I crept back into the habit of drinking it again :(
It's good drinking the water and the milk. you still need calcium yes :P You know what is really good is pasta with pesto sauce.^^ I know it's carbs but you cant cut out all the carbs you still need the good carbs.
*is eating potatoes* They'll take my carbs over my cold dead body! :D Carby, carby carbs. Moderation mr.sunshine. Whheeeee. Unfortunately pesto sauce or the means to make pesto sauce is not available where I am. I can however make a basil sauce alternative. hmmm. lol
LOL! Yeah I wasn't sure if that was avaiable or not. When you come home I'll have to have you try it. It Really is good. They even make a tomato basil version too whih is good as well.
Well, if you reduce the amount you eat drastically you might eat probably not enough and then at some point your metabolism slows down. (You should ask yourself/check if you're not eating enough and if yes eat some more. A sign of a slowed down metabolism might be that you feel cold

I don't think I have the will power to dramatically cut what I'm eating down to a little bit! lol. Instead I'm just concious of what I'm eating and the calories/nutrients it contains.
I started off by exercising more, because I'm going to try to be more heart healthy. I also don't want to risk embolisms when I am older. I've notice a big improvement since I started 'weight training' as far as my arms go. I've been trying to do my legs, but it can be a bit hard. I tried running for a little bit, but a cold put me out of commission and now the fall is making it too cold to run (when I'm wheezing back to the appartment). So I downloaded some aerobic pseudo-kick boxing workout things that's been doing pretty good so far. :\
DBSK, Ah K-pop right? I'm sure I've heard at least a few of their songs. The huge bands in Korea right now are Big Bang, Wondergirls, Super Junior, FT Island. I haven't really kept up with the K-pop since it all sounds the same to me, although I do occasionally listen to some big bang.
