My hips don't hurt right now! It is a strange and unusual occurrence lately. You don't know how LOVELY it is to be pain-free until you've been living with pain for a while and it is suddenly... gone.
Earlier this year a doctor got me onto gabapentin. I was afraid I was spacing out until I realized I was just in a good mood.
I hadn't recognized the feeling.
(I've moved and won't be able to get back on MediCal until December 1st, and cannot afford the stuff until then as it is apparently extracted from unicorns or something of that general nature.)
Heh, sounds like when I first started taking anti-anxiety pills. I thought something was wrong with my responses, until I realized I was simply not freaking out.
No - my sickness only really runs to pain, exhaustion and mental issues. But I HAVE called in sick several times when my body was perfectly fine (relatively), I just Could Not with the leaving the house and doing my job and acting normal around people.
