So i had to sit through one of the stupidest conversations i've ever heard today, and then i heard more about it on the radio, so here's the deal, INTELLIGENT DESIGN [as a branch of science] IS DUMB

And I agree with you, to an extent, sort-of. Most of the things that you said were exactly the things that I knew, but to be quite honest, many of them, although I knew them, I refused to believe because I was raised that way. Intellegent Design (when did they stop calling it creationism?) should NOT be taught in schools--there is a separation of church and state, but I do believe they should take the time to mention "Oh, and BTW, there is another theory, that says this....." but leave it all off of tests. That way the student can decide which he/she prefers, or choose between the two of them.
Kudos to you, for saying what many people thought, didn't have the balls to say, or couldn't put words into.
Yeah i know exactly what you mean. The whole idea of intelligent design is just creationism in disguise, and since a public school will never be able to teach you anything about a religion other than one could exist, it'd almost be better off leaving it up to families and parents so ppl don't get misinformed and use intelligent design as an excuse not to learn science as opposed to thinking about God, ya know what i mean?
But again thanks for reading it and not being close-minded, it's nice to know that some ppl are still willing to take a good, hard, honest look at things.
