Getting Things Done?

I've read about Getting Things Done method several times and wondered if it might help me. Now that I'm self-employed, I have been better about not procrastinating at work, though I'm always on the lookout for better time management skills. Here are a few of my favorites; feel free to add yours.

Thank you so much for writing this! theaterkid April 5 2008, 09:03:11 UTC
After far too long of being afraid to open my own business (and being more afraid of not being able to actually *run* my own business) I decided that I'm going to start making and selling jewelry. I'm good at it and I want to get paid for doing something I actually ENJOY doing instead of sucking corporate dick at Target. Ooo... was that too graphic? Eh, well. It's the graphic truth. Anyway, reading this blog cleared up for me that it is possible to gain organizational skills. I've always been kind of a mess but since I've moved out of my parents house (best thing that has ever happened to me, period) I've been working on being responsible. This has helped me realize that I can take care of serious business when I need to. I was worried I'd never be completely organized but these tips you've blogged about are detailed, logical and easy. I'm definitely using most of these! Thank you so much for sharing!

Sure, whenever you're in Vegas, give me a holler and I'd love to meet you.

Thanks for the compliments -- my blog is about so much -- I never know if one subject is not interesting and business tends to take up most of my life these days.

Congrats on the jewelry initiative! girlpirate is an lj-friend of mine who works full-time in a bakery, and sells jewelry for extra income, you might check her out.
