Honesty is not the same as cruelty. The truth can be bad too, you know.

In a community for posting bedroom photos, a girl recently posted her pic and said it showed off her "creative messy style".

It was a pretty room, but covered a foot deep in stuff - papers, clothes, the usual ... and garbage. I commented that the room looks gross. There's a full trash can literally in the center of the floor pile, and junk like ( Read more... )

I ABSOLUTELY AGREE. I DO THIS STRAIGHT TALK STUFF FOR MY FRIENDS I SEE IN PERSON. ONLINE, PPL DON'T ALWAYS WANT THE TRUTH, OR I CAN'T TELL IF THEY DO. SO I PUSSY OUT AND ONLY TELL THEM ANONYMOUSLY WHEN THEY SIGN UP FOR THOSE ANONYMOUS MEME THINGS.

She claims she's never home long enough to worry about it. coell August 14 2008, 10:16:48 UTC
Twelve hours earlier, she posted the photo below - which is quite lovely. So don't tell me your mess expresses you! It didn't twelve hours ago, so just admit you're being gross and lazy when your room gets to the point above, and don't call me an idiot and a bitch for calling you out on it.

I wish I knew more people like you. I usually get useless compliments when I ask for criticism. It's a waste of my time and doesn't help me improve.

And I thought my bedroom was messy when I was 16. How does she ever find anything?! Not to mention the bad grammar/spelling and defensiveness of her "explanation". Oh course no one on the boards "likes you", they don't even know you. And also, why should she care if anyone likes her? I thought it was about showing her creativity and dirty laundry. Way to be polite and helpful when giving her the critique she was clearly asking for. How are people supposed to improve if they don't know what they are doing wrong? Bravo!
