I did this meme last year as well, and I thought it would be interesting to see how my answers have changed. Besides, I love doing yearly reviews. Unless something out of the ordinary happens, I usually have trouble remembering what happened a month ago, so this is also a nice excuse to browse old entries and remind myself of what has been going on

The Eagle fandom has given me so much this year, but so has the Trek fandom and I too am thrilled that we've gotten so many holiday stories. I've been excited to see new K/S fics popping up on my flist every day for the past 3+ weeks and considering how quiet the fandom has been for most of the year, I think it shows that lots of people miss the fandom and are ready to jump back in as soon as news start trickling in from the set of XII.
Heh maybe I should have found a way to include my fic somewhere. I had nearly forgotten about it, but I *am* proud that I managed to write it and post it
I am still at my parents' until Monday, but we're mostly done with the Christmas parties now, so I think I'll be around tomorrow and I will do my best to be around on New Year's Day as well, if you're still sitting around.
I MISS YOU TOO AND I LOVE YOU AND I CANNOT TELL YOU HOW MUCH I APPRECIATE YOUR CONSTANT SUPPORT EVEN IN FANDOMS THAT YOU AREN'T REALLY PART OF &hearts ♥ ♥.

I absolutely adored meeting you!
It's sad that trek fandom has, well, kinda died a death but I have high hopes for next year! :D I AM EXCITE.
Also? Your right. Europe is totally the place to be. All the cool people are here.
*ETA: Ohhh you got round to reading Tinker, Tailor? What did you make of it?

Likewise!
I really hope we'll be able to meet up again. My best friends are going to Edinburgh in March, probably, so I might tag along to Scotland then, but nothing is decided yet.
ME TOO. Fandom is bound to pick up again next year - they will start shooting XII in less than a month omg!
I really liked TTSS. I have never read a spy novel before, and I didn't expect to like it as much as I did, but I thought it was really well-written, tense and interesting, both as a spy novel and as a meta-ish commentary on a certain period during the Cold War and perhaps even on the secret services (but what do I know?). Also, there are canon gay/bisexual characters in it, and even a pretty heartbreaking love story between the lines and I loved how subtle that story was.

And I rec your story to everyone who will listen lol. I go back to reread some of my favourite passages quite frequently and it is just so, so good.
