I always always cry when I'm watching Billy Elliot too. I don't think I even knew what the deal was with the miners' strike the first time I watched it, but I was profoundly touched by the film and by Billy's father's struggle and I have never forgotten it.

I adore Billy Elliot and I am being totally serious about tearing up when I saw Jamie's tweet. I cannot wait to see Filth and I hope they will do some interviews together!

Yeah I am still tearing up a bit when I think about it. I can definitely imagine that it must have been an emotional reunion for them.
Their performances in Billy Elliot are stunning. I will have to rewatch it soon - haven't seen it in a couple of months lol.
