I started my summer holidays last Friday and have since been busy planning my trip to California. OMG I AM LEAVING IN NINE DAYS. NINE DAYS!!! I am, of course, super excited, but I'm also starting to freak out a little about everything that could go wrong, like what if I miss my flight, or what if I get lost in SF or LA and what if I suddenly forget

And you won't miss your flight, bb, just as you won't get lost and for sure won't forget your English either. It'll be fine and it'll be such an adventure! Wow.

I'm wishing you so much fun and new experiences - only good ones of course - and am curious what you will tell us about it.

AND NOW IT IS EIGHT DAYS :DDD

I know, I know, I won't miss my flight. I have, however, started to worry that my flight from Oslo to Amsterdam (from where I'll be boarding the plane that will take me to SF) will get cancelled or delayed, causing me to miss the flight from Amsterdam: Apparently there aren't enought air traffic controllers at work at Oslo airport due to the summer holidays and that has caused a number of delays in the last few days D: Argh they'd better not ruin my vacation!!

Oh I can promise you I will tell you allll about my trip :DDD

But I see - I think something like that would worry me too and I totally understand you. Crossing fingers the traffic controllers will behave and come to work so you can fly!

I bet you're gonna buy books, dresses and htas - and of course I all wanna see pictures when you're back :)

Oh god if the locals are complaining about the heat, I am going to die from a heat stroke, aren't I? I might have to bring one of my new hats; hopefully it will provide some shade. And maybe I should get a fan as well? I've got this really cool Spanish fan...

I've been keeping an eye on the weather forecast for SF and LA lately and I think the temperature in SF will be manageable. But I am worried about LA - yesterday it was 35C there. Over here, if we've got more than 25C I just want to lie down in the shade and do as little as possible...

Omg! We have different reading habits in that I do not dog ear or write in my books! I know people always tell me I should though! It would actually be extremely helpful but I can't bear to do it~!

Yesss, my reading habits are different because of fic too!! I am awful at reading novels instead of fic!! D;

I'm kinda saving myself for Disney World in Florida lol, hoping that I'll get the chance to go there one day soon!

I totally understand that you don't want to dog ear books. Many of my friends feel the same way as you do, and before I started uni I was really reluctant to write in books as well. But in my uni everyone was dog earing and writing in books and so I started doing it as well, and now I've gotten used to it.

There are a lot of really great fic out there though! As long as you enjoy what you are reading, I don't think it matters whether you mostly read fic or novels :D

Yay, I'd love to hang out. I'll be in SF from Thursday July 19th until Monday July 23rd, and my schedule while there is pretty flexible so hopefully we can work something out!
