for at least a week i've been a on a manic-depressive road to greatness. summer seems to bring out the alcoholic in me, mostly, and to a lesser degree, the ambitious me. either i'm sitting on my roof knitting and drinking, or i'm trying to run around in the forest and swim around in a lake in the middle of the night to get wasted. in many ways

Funny how things seemed so much simpler when every waking minute was occupied with educational concerns ... no time to waste, so much to do ... and now that we've reached the end of that long, terrible road, there's a new interchange and no directions.

But hey, you're going to Europe!!
I just want to be able to visit California again ...

Maybe I should start drinking again.

Actually, of every close friend of mine with a college degree now [that makes 5 in mind, plus me], no one has done anything more exciting than going to Europe [save SuperSwede aka Mattias ... getting paid to go to Antartica ...]
