So, I'm discovering that part of the problem of a project-based job is that projects end. In my company, projects end around Christmas although some of them, naturally, overrun. 2009 sees the start of a new initiative to stagger the projects over the course of the year so that there isn't a bulk of projects starting in January and fighting for
