Sarah, this is glorious! Oh dear--I remember the days of simple/complex sentence structure, and those early realms of Chomskian glory!
Unfortunately, all written relics of my fifth-grade self are buried in a centenial time capsule under an oak tree on the campus of Columbus School for Girls, and when they are unearthed in 2098?2099? nobody will remember me for the strange little rebel that I was.
Perhaps we can stage a late-night "archaelogical" dig while you are in Columbus. When in Rome...
